What Else Do I Need?
Now that you’ve started making paletas full-time, you’ll need a few other things to make your life easier and business run smoother. We suggest cheap plastic baggies, food grade wooden popsicle sticks and a bag sealer for starters. You can start out using the family freezer at home with the plastic molds, but we suggest buying that deep freezer or paletera machine once you trade up to the stainless steel popsicle molds.
And, don’t forget there is a wealth of information online about paleta recipes and making paletas. Trial and error is the best way to learn the gourmet popsicle business, however it doesn’t hurt to see what everyone else is dreaming up in the kitchen.
